We are here to help you with all your medical and mental health concerns

Our Comprehensive Health Services

General health consultations

During these 15 minute consultations, your doctor will assess your current health status, discuss any symptoms or concerns you may have, and may order diagnostic tests or prescribe medications as needed.

Your doctor may also provide preventive care advice and schedule follow-up appointments as needed.

The goal of a general consultation is to ensure that you receive appropriate care and treatment for your current health needs.

Compassionate nursing care

Whether it is administering immunisations or treatments, performing routine check-ups, or providing education and support on managing chronic conditions, our nurses are committed to providing the highest quality of care.

Expert minor surgery

Our team of experienced doctors and healthcare providers are trained and equipped to perform a wide range of minor surgical procedures. These procedures include but are not limited to: skin lesion removal, wart removal, skin lesion biopsies, ingrown toenail surgery, liquid nitrogen therapy and joint injections.

We understand that undergoing any kind of surgical procedure can be stressful, and that's why our team will take the time to explain each step of the process and answer any questions you may have before, during and after the procedure.

Please note you cannot book appointments for minor surgery or other procedures online, you will need to make an appointment with your doctor first to discuss and plan any procedures.

Medical examination for driver's licence certification

We can perform the medical examinations required for driver's licence certification.

If you would like to make an appointment for a driver's license medical then please call reception, as these appointments cannot be made online.

Stay protected and healthy with up-to-date vaccinations

Vaccinations are an important aspect of maintaining good health and preventing the spread of infectious diseases in New Zealand. Many of them are funded through the Ministry of Health.

Bishopdale Medical will keep you up-to-date with vaccines that you are entitled to, and any new vaccines which come about from time to time (such as the COVID-19 vaccines). We can also provide advice on other vaccines, including vaccinations prior to travel.

Please call reception if you have a vaccine related enquiry and they will make the appropriate appointment for you.
